Hey, music lovers! Fall is officially here, and there's no better way to celebrate than with a carefully curated playlist that captures the season's essence. 🍂🎶
Why a Fall Playlist?
Music has the power to evoke emotions and set the mood. Just like a good wine pairing can enhance a meal, the right playlist can elevate your experience of the autumn season. Think of this playlist as your audio backdrop for pumpkin spice latte sips while working, autumn drives, and cozy evenings by the fire.
The Playlist
I've created a playlist encompassing various genres and moods, ensuring there's something for everyone. From modern house to jazzy lo-fi, here are some tracks that made the list:
"Sexy Boy" - Air: There’s something about this song that always feels like the end of summer and early Fall.
"Sandman" - Thomas Jack: This recent release from Thomas Jack has that moody Fall vibe, and I can’t get enough of it.
"I Want It" - Jimpster: A modern tune that has always set the tone for Autumn for me over the years from California to Texas.
You can listen to the full playlist here.

A Toast to Ten Years: Elevating Your Playlist with Wine
This year (exactly this time ago) marks my tenth anniversary since moving to the captivating town of Healdsburg.
The year 2013 profoundly shaped my palate and honed my skills as a sommelier, particularly my love for the vineyards of Anderson Valley (aka Mendocino, two hours north of Healdsburg) and the Russian River region. Ten years of exploring and falling in love with the artistry and nuances of the Anderson Valley and Russian River wines.
Today, I'm extending this passion to you by marrying two of life's simplest yet richest luxuries: wine and music.
Anderson Valley Pinot Noir: Anderson Valley Pinot Noirs are known for their elegant complexity, featuring bright red fruit flavors balanced by earthy undertones and a hint of spice. Their layered nuances make them an ideal companion for Fall, capturing the season's essence of warmth and transformation in every sip. It's a great, slightly moody wine for when you're engrossed in a deep house beat or an intricate jazz piece. Some of my favorites include: Twomey, Copain, & Littorai.
Russian River Valley Gewürztraminer: Russian River Gewürztraminers offers a fragrant bouquet of lychee, rose, and spice with a palate that balances fruit-forward sweetness with refreshing acidity. Their aromatic complexity and off-dry richness make them a delightful match for the transitional flavors of Fall, pairing especially well with the season's spice-infused dishes and comforting meals. One to have on your radar is Joseph Swan. This Gewurtz always tastes like Fall… and just so happens to be a great Thanksgiving wine! And at $24, it’s a great value.
Russian River Chardonnay: Russian River Chardonnays are celebrated for their rich body and layered complexity, featuring a harmonious blend of buttery textures, crisp apple notes, and a touch of minerality. This makes them a versatile choice for Fall, pairing beautifully with hearty dishes and capturing the season's sense of coziness and warmth. If you're into soulful R&B or contemplative indie music, the full-bodied richness of this Chardonnay can elevate your listening experience to new emotional heights. Some RRV Chards to know are: Kistler, Williams Selyem, & Gary Farrell.

I hope you love the playlist! Are there any songs you would add or any that bring you straight to Fall or Wine Country? Reply to this post or shoot me a message.
